How prepared do you feel you are to tell your organization’s president that an action he or she feels strongly about and wants to implement immediately is unethical and has the potential to cause serious damage to the organization’s reputation? When you raised concerns in the past, you’ve been brusquely told you “the attorneys say it’s legal.”

Join PRSA Tampa Bay for a lively discussion of the realities of providing ethical counsel to senior management and ensuring that all stakeholders have a full appreciation of the importance of the issue.

Our Chapter’s Ethics Officer, Kirk Hazlett, APR, Fellow PRSA, will interview Sandra Moscovic, Ph.D. CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional), Director, Corporate Ethics and Compliance, TECO Services, Inc., on the challenges that she faces as ethical “conscience” for one of the state’s largest public utilities and lessons learned in the course of her distinguished military and civilian careers.

Meet our speaker:

Sandra Moscovic
Director of Ethics & Compliance
TECO Services, Inc.

As Director of Ethics & Compliance at TECO Services, Inc, Sandra “Sandy” A. Moscovic supports all levels of team members and the Board of Directors on matters related to corporate integrity and ethical behavior and compliance. Notable among her accomplishments were the implementation of the company’s learning management system, succession planning processes, performance management program, individual development plans, internal leadership development programs, and directing the creation of external college and university degree programs on site at TECO.
