In this program, Ashley Iaccarino, Tampa International Airport's communications manager, will share how she built TPA’s strong social media following, created a distinct voice on social media, and how she balances that voice while navigating national crises and emerging trends. Ashley will present examples, case studies and lessons learned from managing TPA’s wildly popular social media presence.

Ashley Iaccarino is a Communications Manager at Tampa International Airport and the face behind TPA’s beloved social media accounts. As a University of Florida graduate, Ashley joined the TPA team in 2018 and has since managed the day to day content for the Airport’s accounts. Since then, the social media following, engagement and rapport has grown astronomically not only in the region, but worldwide including an increase in following of 235 percent and an increase in engagement of 568 percent on Instagram alone. With her team, Ashley has managed to create a unique brand social media strategy to showcase the TPA brand as relevant, engaging and fun.
