Suzanne Perry, Datz Owner

Suzanne Perry is the owner of three restaurants - all award-winning with significant local, national and international press including The Food Network CA, The Travel Channel, The Cooking Channel and more. Datz was named one of the top brunches in the U.S. by Open Table and its restaurants are some of the top-reviewed in Tampa Bay receiving consistently high ratings. The Datz brands are approaching 70k Facebook fans and Datz in particular has more than any other restaurant in Tampa Bay with 35k rabid Facebook Fans. Suzanne also runs two catering divisions that deliver both office/business catering as well as upscale weddings and social events.

Suzanne co-hosts a weekly radio show, Food Talk, which is broadcast almost Florida-wide and features guests ranging from Paula Deen and other major celebrity chefs to beekeepers, cookbook authors and TV food personalities. View press rooms: and

Jennifer Vickery, National Strategies PR

Jennifer has more than 10 years of experience in PR and business strategies. She has helped hundreds of organizations across the US increase market share, raise awareness, showcase their expertise in the news and engage customers in creative ways.

Jennifer has a niche with national and local media relations. She has a broad range of media experience, relationships and truly knows what it takes to get your stories noticed. Jennifer enjoys making a positive difference in the community and stays involved with non-profits, serves on several boards and continues to volunteer her time to causes in need. Jennifer is currently pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Global Strategic Communications from the University of Florida (UF) and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications, specializing in Public Relations from the University of South Florida (USF).

Brett Nehls, Yelp Tampa Bay

Brett Nehls is the Senior Community Manager of Yelp in Tampa Bay. He connects people with great local businesses, which means that the biggest chunk of his schedule is dedicated to planning events for the communities most active Yelpers within the local business community.

Brett also helps educate business owner on how to maximize their presence on Yelp, oversees the production of a Weekly newsletter, and helps build awareness of Yelp in the Bay Area, overall.

Lauren Cresta, Bonefish Grill

Lauren is the Digital Marketing Manager for Bonefish Grill, a Tampa-based Bloomin’ Brands concept with more than 200 locations nationwide.  In this role she handles email marketing, social media strategy and web content, creating awareness and driving sales and traffic to the restaurant through a combination of online efforts.  Part of her job is social listening, and she uses these insights to create actionable marketing tactics. Yelp is one of the key platforms she uses as part of this initiative.

Lauren has a master’s degree in corporate communications from Rollins College, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies from Stetson University in DeLand, FL.  She’s a Massachusetts native, a mom to a 1-year old, and obsessed with the pursuit of amazing food.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received by noon on Friday, February 20, will be accepted without penalty. Regarding cancellations made after that date, registrations paid in advance will not be refunded, and those who registered but did not pay will be invoiced the full registration amount.
