6th Annual PRestige Awards, sponsored by McDonald's

Are you proud of your public relations achievements? Enter your work in the 2020 PRestige Awards.

The PRestige Awards, presented by PRSA Tampa Bay and sponsored by McDonald's, recognize outstanding public relations programs and tactics by PR professionals and students. The awards program is open to both PRSA members and non-members anywhere in Florida and across the country.

This year, we are proud to present the 6th Annual PRestige Awards, sponsored by McDonald's, as a live virtual awards ceremony on PRSA Tampa Bay’s Facebook page on Nov.12, 2020 from 3 to 3:45 p.m. The virtual event will include a keynote by Bob Conigliaro, vice president of Community Relations for Caspers Company McDonald’s Restaurants. Bob will speak on his “passion for generating happiness” and how that approach leads to PR success.

ENTRY DEADLINES

Early Deadline:
 
Friday, July 31, 2020 by 11:59 p.m.
PRSA Tampa Bay Member: $50 per entry  Non-Member: $70 per entry

Regular Deadline:
Friday, August 14, 2020 by 11:59 p.m.
PRSA Tampa Bay Member: $60 per entry  Non-Member: $80 per entry

Late Deadline:
Monday, Sept. 7, 2020 by 11:59 p.m.
PRSA Tampa Bay Member: $80 per entry  Non-Member: $100 per entry

Note: All students enter for free! Must submit entries using “.edu” email addresses. 

AWARDS

The awards highlight compelling public relations initiatives in 24 different categories that demonstrate excellence in research, planning, implementation and evaluation. Awards given in the PRestige Awards competition include:

  • Award of Commendation: Presented to the top scoring entry submitted by student members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
  • Award of Excellence: Presented to entries meeting the standards of excellence set by the Awards Committee.
  • PRestige Award: To be presented to the top-scoring entry in each category, if the entry meets predetermined criteria of excellence set by the Awards Committee.
  • PRestige Best of Show: Presented to the best PRestige Award-winning entry in the Programs category.
